Olivia Cleans Green was introduced to NYC in November 2010 as an apartment cleaning and organizing service that aspired to help clients design balanced and fulfilling lives built around their own ideals. In April 2012, I stopped offering home services. Today the purpose of Olivia Cleans Green is to offer education and sanctuary to folks trying to balance homekeeping, work, and relationships, along with self-care.

The foundations of my homekeeping philosophy are creativity, positivity, and compassion. I'm springing you from the prison of perfection. Who cares what Martha Stewart or you mother would think? I invite you to imagine and create the kind home you-- in all your quirky glory-- would like to live; a place where you feel truly comfortable, loved, and safe.
I aim to help transform your perception and experience of homekeeping from one more thing to stress about to a ritual so infused with self-care that you look forward to it. Let's have fun! Let's dance while we dust, meditate while we wash, and phone our friends while we vacuum!
Let's honor the animals and the planet while we're at it! I strongly believe in using natural cleaning products that are not tested on animals, as well as recycled and re-purposed materials whenever possible. I also promote conservation of water and energy.
