3 Quick Ways to Feel Sexier This Valentine's Day

Feeling sexy on Valentine's Day isn't about lingerie or perfume. Although those things can be part of it, feeling sexy is about radiating the sensuality you naturally possess from the inside out.

Here are three tips to let your inner vixen shine on Valentine's Day. Try one or all!

Have a flirt fest for one!
Look in the mirror and tell yourself out loud how sexy you are. Notice what's beautiful and irresistible about you and verbally salute it. If you can't think of anything, fake it til you make it. Turn a negative belief into a positive one. Personally, I used to feel insecure about my small breasts until I started purposely paying them compliments. "Those are some sassy nipples!" I'd say to myself when I got out the shower. Now, I think my itty bitties are the cat's pajamas!

Give your skin some TLC.
Enjoy a relaxing warm bath with skin nourishing herbals. I like a blend of rose petals, chamomile buds, lavender buds, and oatmeal. (Read my post for a basic DIY bath tea recipe.)

When you get out of the bath, lovingly massage some homemade whipped body butter into your skin. This combo is the perfect remedy for tightness caused by stress and cold. It will leave you feeling open and ready for love!

Get a night of quality sleep.
Sleep makes everything better including sexy times. Conversely, lack of sleep is the first domino to fall in a series of bad self-care choices which impact your health and sexiness. But how do you actually sleep better?

I recently started wearing a $2 sleep mask to block out light and OMG it's a game changer! I thought I slept well before but my sleep mask takes it to a whole other level. The only issue with my mask is that it's tight around my eyes and can be uncomfortable. I plan to upgrade to this contoured best-selling sleep mask for a long-term solution but honestly, even an ill-fitting drug store mask is better than no mask. Try it tonight!

I use essential oils and herbal teas to sleep better too. I rub lavender oil into the soles of my feet or the back of my neck. I have a cup of lavender tea 90 minutes before bed. (Not later, otherwise I'll have to interrupt my sleep to pee.) I also use a diffuser to release a continuous mist of lavender essential oil into the air of my bedroom. Bonus Tip: Exercise!
Working out gets you gushing with endorphins ("feel good" chemicals that karate chop anxiety), balances your sex hormone levels, and makes you radiate sexiness from inside and out. Check out Grokker.com to find a free fun workout you can do from the comfort of your own home. Try Cassey Ho's Pilates Bootcamp - Sleek and Sexy Arms for Beginners. She's so adorable and encouraging, plus the workout is less than 15 minutes long!
