Coconut Tahini Sweeties Candy Recipe [Gluten-free]

Here's a supereasy, healthy candy recipe- coconut tahini sweeties! This recipe was adapted from the Energy Balls recipe in 28 Days Lighter Diet: Your Monthly Plan to Lose Weight, End PMS, and Achieve Physical and Emotional Wellness, a book that I've recently begun using to transform my reproductive health.

Coconut Tahini Sweeties Candy [Gluten-free]

Total Time: 1 hr 10 min
Makes about a dozen little balls.


  • 14 c tahini
  • 1 T honey
  • 1 T coconut oil
  • 14 c + 2 to 3 T shredded coconut unsweetened


  1. Combine tahini, honey, coconut oil, and 2 to 3 T of shredded coconut in a food processor, blender, or by hand with a fork in a small bowl.
  2. Plop a small spoonful of the mixture onto a plate prepped with the remaining shredded coconut spread around it.
  3. Roll the mixture around so that it gets covered with coconut. It's okay if some of the coconut gets mixed into it too. Think of this as a tahini honey version of The Blob that feeds on coconut.
  4. Once you're happy with your blob put it in a container lined with wax paper.
  5. Repeat until all the mixture has been made into bite sized coconutty blobs.
  6. Refrigerate. The cold temperature will make these guys hold their form.
  7. Enjoy straight from the fridge.
